fixed blade knife, camping tent

I recently went to a knife and camping show at the local convention center and I was amazed at the selection of hunting knives and fixed blade knives that were on display. Also the selection of camping tents were awesome as well. Thousands of different brands of  knives from hundreds of manufacturers. Buck knives had an awesome display, and Gerber knives stole the show with their new multi-tools. The fixed blade knife section was equally as impressive. There were knives that had been folded hundreds of times so that the blades looked alive and beautiful. There was also a kiosk set up with new prototypes. Knives that literally will catch you dinner, clean it and then light the fire to cook it. One knife even had a two shot twenty-two caliber gun built into the handle, crazy. The other section of this show was the fantasy knife and sword section. Beautifully crafted pieces that inspire imagination and awe. One gentleman that hand forges his own line of custom swords let me hold one that was perfectly balanced and surprisingly light. When I looked down at the price tag I almost choked, thirty-eight thousand dollars! I talked with him for a bit and he told me he only makes two to three swords a year. He also uses the finest steel and the latest forging methods. All of his swords are also cryogenically treated, making them much harder, and the steel denser. How cool.
