Seeing Northern Arizona From a Camping Tent |

I have a friend who is a wilderness photographer. He's always tramping out somewhere beyond the sprawl of civilization in order to capture just the right photos. I love camping and hiking, so a couple of months ago he invited me to come along on one of his trips to northern Arizona. We wound our way through canyons and over mountains, alternating between desert and forest landscapes. I had prepared for the trip as best I could, packing my backpack and gathering up assorted supplies. But because of his frequent excursions, he had better gear than I did. For the most important things, like our camping tent, we relied on his equipment. He had the best camping tent I had ever used. It was so lightweight and flexible that it folded right up into his backpack, but was still spacious and comfortable after it was set up. Setting up this camping tent was a breeze, and hardly took any time at all. It was such a relief to know that after an exhausting day of hiking and exploring, we would get to sleep inside of a comfortable camping tent at day's end. All in all, it was a spectacular trip, and we've got the photos to prove it! |
