Backpacking Tent Ready for Hike In |

I have been talking about going camping at a spot my buddy told me about for almost a month now. He is the only one out of our group of friends to venture to it but from the sounds of it, the terrain is not what someone would expect just an hour outside of Los Angeles. There are streams, tall trees, lakes and plenty of places to set up the camping tent. The deal with this place is that campers need to hike in. Apparently, cool places to camp begin at about a mile in and continue for three more miles. The deeper a person takes the trail, the more privacy they will have. Personally, I like setting up the camping tent at least a ½ mile away from the next group of people. It is just cool to be out there in the wilderness and feel completely isolated.
Since there is a hike into this place, I’ve been researching what a backpacking tent will cost. This seems like a great tool to have anyway. It would save a lot of trouble associated with carrying in a bunch of stuff for miles. That is no fun.
