When we first moved into our new home this summer; I was worried that our son would have a hard time meeting some of the kids in the neighborhood because they seemed to have their own little group and didn’t seem enthusiastic about letting in anyone new. I told my husband after the first week that I hoped we hadn’t made a mistake, but a week later I knew that everything was going to be fine. My son came home one afternoon asking if we had a camping tent. When I told him we didn’t, he asked if it was possible for us to buy a camping tent because one of the kids was having a camp out in this back yard and he’d been invited. I knew that I had to find him a camping tent and the sooner the better. I went on line that evening and after a little browsing found a very cool camping tent for a good price. After getting his seal of approval, I ordered it for our son. When it came time for them to camp out in the back yard of one of the neighbor boy’s, our son had the coolest tent. Needless to say, after that I stopped worrying about him being accepted.
