camping tent

I have always loved camping.  Just being away from the city and out in the open forest has always been enough to recharge me.  What I love even more than getting away for a quick trip alone is sharing the adventure with friends and family.

Recently I thought it would be a good idea to take my wife and her parents along for a trip up to the forest.  We checked the weather reports for that weekend and saw nothing but clear skies in the forecast.  We thought that it would be a great opportunity to sleep out under the stars.  Being the camping veteran that I am I decided that I would be along my camping tent just in case.  That decision paid of big time. 

The first evening we were that an unexpected storm rolled in. There was no way we would be able to sleep out under the stars and there was not enough room in the car for all of us to be comfortable.  I quickly set up the camping tent I brought and we all took shelter in there.  We were able to spend the rest of the night in the camping tent and out of the rain.  Without the camping tent the entire trip would have been ruined!  We were all so glad I had brought it along.
