Now that I have finally gotten my hands on a new camping tent, as the one that I had was getting old and haggard, I have decided that some new camping trips are on the agenda so that I can really make the most out of my camping tent before it gets too cold over here in Arizona. There is still plenty of time left for me to get the most out of my new camping tent purchase before the winter really starts to set in—and this time around I am seeking some camping spots that I have never been to before in order to really change up the scenery and the pace. Thankfully, the web is my best friend when it comes to uncovering great camping spots that I have never been to before, and really breaking in that new camping tent in the best of ways. I have been peeking around the web, and so far there are about a dozen places I have found that would work out to be just fabulous for my next trip.

Something about the stock markets struggling or economy dropping will be on the menu. It is a tough time. We don’t need a national newscaster to tell us that. Everyone with a job needs to be glad they have it. The rest is all about optimism. As long as we keep spending smarter and have hope things will get better. I’m not going to keep my money under a mattress because this is America. It is a place based off consumerism. The difference now is the importance of finding a great deal. I will go to great lengths to save some cash. The cool part about it is saving is not very hard when online shopping.

I’m still enjoying my outdoor hobbies this summer. Slow economy or not I bought a new Eureka tent and have escaped the day’s news a few times out in nature. Nature doesn’t care about the economy. Its indifferent. Things are simpler in a camping tent. I find it very therapeutic to sleep under the stars in a Eureka tent over the past couple of years.

He is the only one out of our group of friends to venture to it but from the sounds of it, the terrain is not what someone would expect just an hour outside of Los Angeles. There are streams, tall trees, lakes and plenty of places to set up the camping tent. The deal with this place is that campers need to hike in. Apparently, cool places to camp begin at about a mile in and continue for three more miles. The deeper a person takes the trail, the more privacy they will have. Personally, I like setting up the camping tent at least a ½ mile away from the next group of people. It is just cool to be out there in the wilderness and feel completely isolated.

Since there is a hike into this place, I’ve been researching what a backpacking tent will cost. This seems like a great tool to have anyway. It would save a lot of trouble associated with carrying in a bunch of stuff for miles. That is no fun.

Now there is something that I just find grand about the newer camping tents that they are making, because the one that I was shopping to replace was a bit aged, and the newer ones that I was uncovering online while I was looking for a great deal on a replacement camping tent were so feature laden that it really tickled my senses. The newer tents – like the one that I ended up buying online for a really great deal – have all sorts of perks. My new camping tent, for example, can be set up in under five minutes, and has a gear storage compartment and built in rain cover that makes it ever so easy to enjoy a great camping adventure while spending minimal time getting your gear out and setup so that you can start camping like you have been dreaming about all week prior to the trip!

Many will be taking out the camping tent or the backpacking tent and hitting the numerous camping sites around our area or traveling out of state. Camping has always been popular, but especially so now with the economic times. Whether you do resort camping in your RV or take the camping tent, it is a fun, economical vacation. I have some great memories of our family going to various sites with friends and thoroughly enjoying the company and the outdoors. We all slept pretty sound at night with all we tried to pack in during our time. We would swim, fish, hike, ride bikes, etc and by night fall sit exhausted by the campfire. The kids always had that last spurt of energy to play some type of game before they finally ran out of gas. The adults could then just relax, talk and have our favorite beverage before calling it a night and crawling into our camping tents. All our kids are grown now and do their own camping. With the summer season coming up, it is best to book the camping sites now, if you can for some great family fun.

My kids loved to go camping and when they were small they would want to pitch the camping tent in the family room for special night time adventures. We were lucky enough to have a big enough family room to do this and with some moving of the couches, voila, our inside camping trip would begin. The kids would haul in their sleeping bags, pillows, favorite toys and flashlights, of course, to make it official. As I shut-off the lights and said good night, I could hear the laughs and whispering upstairs. It didn’t take them long to fall asleep, though. As they got older, they would take the camping tent outside and pitch it for a backyard camping trip. I took advantage of these times to inspect our tent for wear and tear. Our camping tents certainly got a lot of use, without ever leaving the house!

Over the years I have learned some truly valuable lessons when it comes to going on awesome camping trips: always be as best prepared as you can possibly be, because you never know what might or could happen. For me that means assuring that I have the proper survival knives with me at all times. I like to also bring along survival knives because I have found that they really come in handy for all sorts of different things when I am on camping trips. I think that if I had to state what I used the survival knives I have the most for when on such trips it would easily be fishing; cutting the lines, baiting them and cleaning the catches to make some savory camping dishes for dinner. The best part: getting some time in with Mother Nature and my loved ones!

Many months of it just seemed like talk but now it looks to be happening after he buys a new truck. With that truck, we will quickly cover the 1,200 miles north right up into the majestic pines of this part of the country. I grew up in this area and have the perfect spot to pitch a backpacking tent. A trail begins on the base of a mountain near the Cascades that run through Washington. From there it traverses back and forth until reaching the top where there is a glacier lake. Even in the summer, snow is on the upper edges of the ridgeline.

Apart from being beautiful this area is a very hard place to get to without some serious time. That’s why I want to buy a backpacking tent online so we could camp on the foot of this lake after a strenuous hike up. A Eureka tent would be nice. The weather should be beautiful there in May too. I can’t wait.

I have learned to make sure that we always have some fixed blade knives with us whenever on such trips, because you never know when they will come in handy. Take my last camping trip up north in Arizona, where my brothers and I headed to the White Mountains. We used our fixed blade knives so many different times that I lost count. Like for cutting snagged wires on our fishing poles while trying to catch trout; or using fixed blade knives to fillet our tasty fishes once we caught them, and get them ready for dinner. Indeed, I don’t think there has ever been a camping trip I have embarked upon without fixed blade knives on my checklist. It would just seem silly not to have one with me!

My friend, on the other hand was born to create in the kitchen. I have been over many times and watched in awe while she cuts, de-bones and fillets all on her very nice set of fillet knives. Those fillet knives, along with her other well-crafted kitchen utensils does make her dishes much easier to prepare and seem so effortless. While her company sips some favorite beverage, she is breezing through the kitchen with ease, very comfortable in creating always sumptuous meals. She could easily have her own eatery we always tell her, but her fun is to cook just for friends and family. Her big kitchen is set up with all her tools of the trade near-by, her fillet knives, other sorted knives, stainless steel pots and pans and who knows what else. Most people picture Arizona as dry with only cactus spiking the landscape, but truth be told we have pines trees, lakes and the most beautiful rivers one could ever imagine.

I had been planning a trip to the White Mountains and wanted a new camping tent that would fit my entire family and my daughters two friends. I had also heard my husband mention that he had lost his prized fixed blade knives and I wanted to surprise him with new ones for his upcoming birthday. In the past I would head to the local camping superstore but this time I decided to see what kind of products were available online. I could not believe my eyes. I found fixed blade Buck knives, survival knives, fillet knives and even a great backpacking tent. I opted to purchase a Eureka tent with over 200 square feet of living space, plenty for my entire family. I'm happily packing for the upcoming trip and smiling all the way to the bank!
